The EERSC is a voluntary, uniformed, non-formal educational movement for young people. It is independent, non-political, open to all without distinction of origin, race, creed, gender, or ability, in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder, Robert
Baden-Powell and as stated by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement. The Rover Scout programme caters to the holistic development of students by providing mental, moral and physical training so as to build discipline and character while instilling in them the

ideal of service to community and country.

About Rovers

Rovers is a place for adults between the ages of 18-26 to socialize and build skills with other individuals, whilst partaking in numerous amounts of activities that scouting and the crew provides.

TRAINING

Main Campus

Excelsior Community College is a registered institution with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information (MoEYI) in Jamaica, and the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), the local accreditation body. Excelsior Community College obtained Candidacy for Institutional Accreditation in March 2019 from the UCJ. As such, our programmes curricula are developed in alignment with the UCJ’s and recognized industries occupational standards. Additionally, our programmes are aligned to the Jamaica Tertiary Education Commission (J-TEC), the National Qualifications Framework of Jamaica (NQF-J) and certifications are to be offered by the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ).
